I took the MPRE today. For anyone who does not know what the MPRE is, it is a 60 question multiple choice national ethics test (Model Rules and Code of Judicial Conduct) required by most states for admission to their state bar. States have various minimum score requirements, but the minimum ranges between 75-86. The score range is 50 to 150, and the average score is approximately 100. My state requires an 80.
So, I have been studying so much for this test. I went to the 4 hour Barbri lecture, read the outlines over and over again for days, and did numerous (like 180ish) practice questions from Themis and Barbri. After all of this practice, and based on how I felt answering the questions on the test today, I would be incredibly shocked if I failed. In celebration of being done, I got some yummy Chinese food and relaxed by watching the new episode of Jersey Shore.
